Providing a guiding light through the arts is the main purpose. Sharing guidance through enhancing skills and fostering knowledge for students to feel inspired, and artistically enriching the lives of many is the driving force, as the creative process liberates the soul from routine and elevates wellbeing and self-expression.
Art Classes
Our classes are fun and engaging, and students share diverse backgrounds and abilities: furnishing creative experiences and inspiration.
Each student receives guidance during classes and is open to creating their favorite topic or following the suggested theme, especially when hosting larger groups. Careful consideration is provided to students' unique needs, honing their skills and abilities.

About Me
Monique is an award-winning professional artist based in Southwest Florida, born in Chicago, and raised abroad in Central America, which profoundly influences her understanding of art, culture, and color.
Monique is a multidisciplinary creative, excelling in painting, ceramics, and illustration. She received her formal education in Fine Arts and Teaching at The National School of Fine Arts and The National Pedagogical University of Francisco Morazán. And, has received numerous awards and the opportunity to exhibit in various venues. Growing up surrounded by different cultures has broadened her overall view of life. She is continuously pursuing success in personal, professional, artistic endeavors and the cultural experience itself.
My Story
My upbringing in a developing country has allowed me to identify with the natural environment and recognize the importance of cultural heritage and beauty found in diversity. These experiences have allowed me to be grateful for my surroundings and the people I encounter.
Among my first art teaching experiences began in underserved communities. Locals would gather to learn about making art with local resources and gain insight that art is beautiful, enriches the soul, and if pursued, also brings a growth of possibilities included income. These experiences would showcase the making of ceramics and small-format paintings on various surfaces. Soon after, I became an art instructor at cultural art centers providing weekly art lessons to students of all ages and evenings at a community church.
Upon arrival to the U.S. opportunities have unfolded in different ways granting the opportunity to teach and showcase artworks at various venues and locations. These experiences have shaped who I am and granted me endless learning and teaching offerings. Of which have blessed me as a person and artist.
